The term gets used for everything from organic nutrients in coco coir to outdoor Korean Natural Farming. For us, it comes down to five things — all in service of the microbiology that feeds our plants.
Indoor raised beds of carefully built soil, rich in organic matter — maintained and renewed harvest after harvest.
Frequent lab tests keep the beds balanced while they produce four to five harvests a year.
Bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes turn minerals and organic matter into food the plant can actually use.
Amendments go on top and the biology works them in — protecting the fungal networks that move nutrients underground.
Every feed we use comes from composted or fermented plant material. Life, back into the soil.
We’re a family business in Southeastern New Jersey, dedicated to growing the best soil-grown flower we’re capable of. That meant assembling a team of gardeners and craftspeople, designing our own indoor facility, and choosing the cleanest, most natural methods we could find.
Every plant, every jar — grown, cured and hand-trimmed by our team. Follow along on Instagram @bassriverbuds_nj.
